Whenever you start to do a kegel, often you suck in your stomach and not your abdomen. You may find yourself contracting your abdomen at first, but then losing control.

To correctly do Kegels that will flatten the muscles in your abdomen strengthening your genitourinary muscles improving your sex for you and your partner, start out by standing tall. Now lift your core while placing your hands on your abdomen – fingers spread.

Focus on your abdomen and begin to pull in the muscles in your abdomen. Bending forward ever so slightly, continue to pull in on your gut, using your fingers to make sure the muscles are contracting. As you bend forward, you should stay focues on your abdomen, squeezing it in even tighter. Hold for a count of 10. You’ll want to repeat this exercise several times a day.

Over time, you’ll want to increase the time you hold the contraction to 30 seconds. While pulling your gut in, continue to breathe normally. When a woman does Kegels as instructed here, she will begin noticing a flatter stomach and tighter abs within just a few weeks
